Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have at least two (2) years verifiable Class A CDL driving experience.
- Must have a Tank endorsement.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must pass a pre-employment Department of Transportation physical and drug screen (drivers will also be subject to random drug tests as required by DOT regulations).
Driver Insurance Requirements:
All new and existing drivers must meet all insurance requirements and standards in order to drive for Stover Transportation, Inc. and/or any of its affiliates, lessors, leased companies, owner-operators, etc. In general, a driver:
- can not have more than two (2) moving violations in the past three (3) years.
- can not have any major violations in the past three (3) years.
- can not have any combination of more than two (2) at fault accidents or moving violations in the past three (3) years.
A review of a potential driver's Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) will be completed prior to hiring and, at a minimum, once per year to review any changes.
If, at any time, a driver fails to maintain the insurance requirements set, it will be grounds for termination.
